Fundraising news Middlesbrough

The vibrant spirit of Go Yellow shone brightly in Middlesbrough, as Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice proudly announces another triumphant year for its annual awareness campaign. The Teesside community and local businesses wholeheartedly embraced the initiative, creating a wave of enthusiasm and support for the baby hospice.

Throughout the 7-day campaign, a multitude of champions emerged to champion the cause. Silver Lining Sensory, Boots Middlesbrough, The Sandstone Nab Pub, Anglo American, The Incredible Shed, ICL Boulby, The Electric Center Stockton, Major Recruitment, and Tesco Eston all rallied together to “dress, bake, and take yellow,” spreading joy and awareness.

The campaign received an extra dose of stardust with the involvement of local celebrities in our promotional video. Paul Smith from Maximo Park, footballer Dael Fry, and Steph McGovern from Steph’s Packed Lunch joined hands to amplify the message of Go Yellow.

The campaign reached new heights as we went live on both BBC Radio Tees and Zetland FM, sharing the significance of Go Yellow and the invaluable role it plays in supporting our hospice. Middlesbrough Council and Redcar and Cleveland Council added their illuminating touch, lighting up the Town Hall and Redcar Beacon, respectively, to signify their solidarity. To the delight of the children at our hospice, Middlesbrough Football Club‘s Roary the Lion paid a special visit, courtesy of MFC Foundation.

The overwhelming support from these incredible individuals and organizations holds immeasurable value to our hospice and the trust as a whole, extending to our sister sites in Coventry and Liverpool. The funds raised will enable us to continue providing respite and end-of-life care for the babies and infants who rely on Zoë’s Place. Additionally, bereaved parents will receive vital bereavement counseling, offering them solace during their most difficult times.

From the bottom of our hearts, we express our deepest gratitude to each and every person involved. Your unwavering support and dedication are truly awe-inspiring. Together, we have made a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.

Thank you all for being the embodiment of amazing! From the Zoe’s Place team….
