Head of Finance – Job description

Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice is looking for an ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified Head of Finance to join their senior management team at their head office in Leamington Spa. The ideal candidate will have a number of years’ experience in financial management, line management and leadership. The Head of Finance will be someone who is solution focussed, preferably with experience and knowledge of working in finance within the charity sector, who will be involved in strategic planning and responsible for budgeting and financial reporting . They will be committed to working as a team and upholding the values of Zoe’s Place with the skills to motivate and develop others. This is a full time role with flexible and hybrid working options (3 to 4 days in the office) with access to a variety of discounts and benefits through an employee assistance programme. The salary is between £50,000 per annum and £55,000 per annum. The salary is dependent on relevant skills, experience and qualifications.

Play Specialist – Middlesbrough hospice

Main duties of the job

Ensure that all children receive the appropriate play and stimulation related to their emotional / developmental needs. Organise and facilitate said play. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive play programmes, to include preparation for invasive and non-invasive procedures, procedural support and therapeutic play, as part of the overall care of the child, receiving day care and respite care. To create individual developmental and play assessments for each and every child, adjusting when the child’s needs have changed. To ensure that all children receive appropriate therapeutic and goal orientated play and stimulation related to their emotional/ developmental needs and to achieve developmental goals. To provide psycho-social, emotional and physical care and support to children and families. Through the provision of play provide support for the families and siblings that are under stress and in crisis, demonstrating a commitment to family centred care. To educate child in medical condition if appropriate. To arrange trips and activities for children in line with Zoe’s Place outings policy. To promote an awareness of the emotional needs of children and the importance of play within a care team. Marketing Co-Ordinator

We’re pleased to announce we are recruiting for a Marketing Co-ordinator to be based at our Coventry Hospice.   If you’re an individual passionate about marketing and are passionate about copywriting, content creation and social media engagement – we encourage you to apply. You will empower our team in Coventry to connect with all our stakeholders both online and offline. You will possess a natural aptitude for storytelling. Your creativity will help us raise awareness about the care we provide day-to-day. Your efforts will encourage more people to learn about our cause, and convince more people and businesses to donate or fundraise for us.   You will be part of our national Marketing team so working on Teams to communicate and collaborate will be a big part of the role.
