This year, we are celebrating two decades of providing care for children with life limiting and life-threatening conditions, by hosting an array of special events!

Top of the bill is a Roaring 20’s Anniversary Ball at Gisborough Hall on 26th April, complete with flapper girls, live band, delicious lunch, and lots of additional surprises!

The showcase will also be hosted by Teesside’s own Gary Philipson (BBC Tees), who has himself been a huge supporter of our charity.

However, the celebrations don’t stop there. We’ll also be hosting a special Golf Day, Corporate Let’s Do Lunch event, our annual It’s a Knockout fun day, and much, much more.

Executive Trustee Joan Stainsby said: “This is a fabulous way to celebrate 20 years of Zoe’s in Middlesbrough and all the hard work we have done to get to where we are today.”

“Back in 2002, we were only able to offer very limited care to a small number of families and children – we could only open a few days per week – however thanks to the generosity of the people of Teesside we can now offer that care and support for up to 6 children every 12 hours. That’s testament to the tremendous support we have had from our local community, local businesses, and individuals – who have all donated generously from the very beginning.”

“If you could come along to our ball – or any of our other events throughout the year – we would really appreciate your support. Let’s make it a year to remember.”

We endeavour to make as much money as we possibly can via fundraising events, and key corporate support, because continuing to provide respite care locally – along with bereavement support and counselling for parents – is a much-needed service.

Over the last year alone, we have provided care to hundreds of families across the North East, so it just goes to show how vital our hospice is.

That being said, we’d love to be here for another 20 years and beyond – so if you would like to help us – we’d really appreciate it.

If you’d like to attend our Roaring 20’s Anniversary Ball, you can!

For only £80 per person (and £750 per table of 10), you’ll receive a 3-course meal, be welcomed by an incredible vintage car showcase, and we’ll have ‘The Vintage Swing Thing’ performing live on the night!

(Plus, we’ll have lots of additional surprises… which we’re keeping close to chest for the moment).
