Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice is delighted to announce our latest partnership with Intelect, a local company deeply committed to supporting our cause. We are incredibly grateful for their decision to join forces with us and eagerly anticipate the positive impact we can make together.

Being chosen as Intelect’s Charity of Choice for 2024 by their dedicated workforce speaks volumes about the importance of our mission. At Zoe’s Place, we provide compassionate care to babies and young children facing life-limiting, life-threatening, or complex conditions.

Since our establishment in 2004, and now as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, Zoe’s Place Middlesbrough has been a sanctuary for families across Teesside and the wider North East region. Our hospice offers respite, end-of-life care, and palliative support, ensuring that every child receives the comfort and dignity they deserve.

As a local entity rooted in the community, Intelect’s commitment to giving back resonates deeply with our values. Their investment in partnerships, sponsorships, and initiatives directly contributes to the well-being of our region.

Lily Brothwood, Intelect’s Business Operations Manager, expresses their enthusiasm, stating, “We’re honoured to support Zoe’s Place as our Charity of Choice. Our collaboration underscores the importance of community engagement, driven by our team’s genuine passion for making a difference.”

“We look forward to nurturing this partnership with Zoe’s Place, ensuring that our collective efforts continue to positively impact the lives of children and families facing adversity,” Lily adds.

Ashleigh Wood, Corporate Fundraiser at Zoe’s Place, reflects on the transformative power of such collaborations, noting, “In our milestone 20th year, the support from partners like Intelect remains invaluable. Their decision to stand with us enables Zoe’s Place to remain a beacon of hope for families during their most challenging times.”

“We are deeply touched and profoundly grateful for Intelect’s dedication to our cause, which allows us to fulfil our mission of enriching the lives of children and families in our community,” Ashleigh emphasizes.

Zoe’s Place, with its state-of-the-art facilities including a sensory room, soft play area, and outdoor garden, provides essential support to approximately 46 children and their families each year.
