Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler and comedian Willie Miller visit Zoe’s Place, Liverpool

Over the last couple of years, Robbie Fowler, has raised over £58,000 for Zoe’s Place, Liverpool

On Wednesday 24th January, Zoe’s Place welcomed a visit from former Liverpool FC player, Robbie Fowler, alongside the Liverpool comedian, Willie Miller. The duo took time out of their busy schedules to meet with the children and staff at Zoe’s Place, spreading joy, creating smiles and making memories. 

During his visit, staff presented Robbie with a cheque to celebrate the amount he has fundraised for the West Derby based baby hospice over the last couple of years. This significant contribution of £58,750, is a testament to Fowler’s dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need. 

Robbie has raised funds in many ways, including participating in various golf tournaments and is a proud member of Cameo, where he donates all proceeds to Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice. This commitment further solidifies his role as an ambassador for the hospice, utilising his influence to raise awareness and support for the upcoming capital appeal. 

Expressing gratitude for Fowler’s involvement, Gina Earnshaw, Corporate and Major Donor Fundraiser for Zoe’s Place said, “We are incredibly proud to have Robbie Fowler as an ambassador for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice. We believe his support will significantly contribute to our efforts in continuing to provide essential care for the children and families we support. We are so grateful for all his fundraising efforts.” 

Looking ahead, Robbie Fowler has eagerly accepted the challenge of Zoe’s Place, Liverpool, upcoming fundraising event—the Cycle India Challenge in November. As a part of this initiative, Fowler is set to embark on a cycling journey, showcasing his determination to make a lasting impact on the lives of those supported by Zoe’s Place.
