Pledge to raise – £100 per team
A new and exciting part of the Zoe’s Place spring fayre is the addition of our sports tournament. Are you looking for something for you and your friends to do together? Maybe you are looking for a team building idea for your work colleagues, or are you a local sports group that think you can come away victorious from our charity competition?
Then we have the perfect thing for you!
We are looking for teams to become Zoe’s Place 2024 champions in our 5 a side Football tournament!

5 a side Football!
We are looking for teams of all abilities! You don’t need any experience, join us for some competitive 5 a side fun!
We just need teams to have a minimum of 6 players. 5 players to play the match and one player who has been nominated to referee. Don’t worry we aren’t expecting World Cup standard or any qualifications, just someone who knows the rules and is fair! You don’t need to nominate the same person for all the matches so all 6 of you will have the chance to play.
There is a £25 registration per team to enter the competition (that’s less than £5 each!!) and we are asking for teams to pledge to raise £100 per team.
Our teams will be places into to groups playing matches of 10 minutes (5 minutes each way). Every team is guaranteed to play 3 x matches in the group stage.
The top 2 of each group will move forward to the knock out stage. Depending on numbers of teams entered we hope to add in wildcards (meaning all is not lost and the remaining teams will also have a chance to move forward!), the wildcards will help make up the quarter final, then it’s on to the semi final, third place play off and finishing with the Grand Final!
Team registration on the day opens at 11:15am, with the first match scheduled for 11:30. We aim to be finished by 3:00pm.
Our 5 a side football is open to all and can be single sex or mixed teams however team members must be a minimum of 16 years old.

Bragging rights that you are Zoe’s Place football champions! Although there may also be a prize for the winning team!
