Coventry City FC Scores Big for Zoe’s Place!
Zoe’s Place was honoured to be invited by Coventry City Football Club to their match against Ipswich for a special day of football and fundraising. As part of their ongoing commitment to supporting local charities, the club welcomed representatives from Zoe’s Place to the Coventry Building Society Arena. From the moment they arrived they were met with warmth and enthusiasm of the club, its staff, and the incredible fans.
Coventry City FC generously donated a portion of the proceeds from their brand-new, limited-edition fourth kit to Zoe’s Place. They raised an incredible £22,000. This amazing contribution will help Zoe’s Place continue providing vital care for babies and young children with life-limiting conditions and supporting families when they need it the most. Some of the children from Zoe’s Place were invited to visit the club’s store to see the limited-edition shirt in person.
Coventry City FC also presented Zoe’s Place with a signed team shirt, a wonderful keepsake. In a further act of kindness and sportsmanship, Ipswich Town FC also contributed by donating a signed shirt of their own.
Adding to the excitement of the day, Zoe’s Places’ bear took centre stage, greeting fans, posing for photos, and spreading joy throughout the stadium. The highlight of the event came at halftime when the Zoe’s Place Bear participated in the ‘Kick It for a Ticket’ challenge—and emerged victorious! The fans were full of excitement, cheering on the Zoe’s Place Bear, even when it took a tumble after kicking with such passion!
