Pledge to raise – £100 per team
A new and exciting part of the Zoe’s Place spring fayre is the addition of our sports tournament. Are you looking for something for you and your friends to do together? Maybe you are looking for a team building idea for your work colleagues, or are you a local sports group that think you can come away victorious from our charity competition?
Then we have the perfect thing for you!
We are looking for teams to become Zoe’s Place 2024 champions in our 5 a side Football and our 7 a side grass netball tournaments!

5 a side Football!
We are looking for teams of all abilities! You don’t need any experience, join us for some competitive 5 a side fun!
We just need teams to have a minimum of 6 players. 5 players to play the match and one player who has been nominated to referee. Don’t worry we aren’t expecting World Cup standard or any qualifications, just someone who knows the rules and is fair! You don’t need to nominate the same person for all the matches so all 6 of you will have the chance to play.
There is a £25 registration per team to enter the competition (that’s less than £5 each!!) and we are asking for teams to pledge to raise £100 per team.
Matches will be 15 minutes long for the group matches and play offs, with every team guaranteed to play 2 x matches.
The final will be 30 minutes split into 2 x 15 minute halves.
Our 5 a side football is open to all and can be single sex or mixed teams, however team members must be a minimum of 16 years old.
Grass Netball!
Not traditional played in the UK but it is a thing! And yes you have guessed it we are playing netball on a grass court! We have been assured by the Rugby Club who are hosting our Spring Fayre that the pitch will be perfect to play netball on, we just need to hope for great weather to ensure those bounce passes still bounce!
We are looking for teams containing a minimum of 8, 7 to play the match and 1 to umpire one side of the court. As with our football refs, our umpires do not need to hold any awards, just know the game, can blow a whistle and be fair to both sides.
The registration fee of £25 and pledge to raise of £100 per team stays the same, making it even easier to achieve between 8 if not exceed!
Group matches and play off matches will be 2 x 7 minute halves with the final being 4 x 7 minute quarters.
Every team is guaranteed to play 2 x matches.
Our grass netball is open to all and can be single sex or mixed teams, however team members must be a minimum of 16 years old.
What are you playing for?
Bragging rights that you are Zoe’s Place football or netball champions! Although there may also be a grand prize for the two winning teams, more to be announced very soon.
