It is estimated that more than 1 million tonnes of textiles are thrown away each year! We have partnered with D Robinsons & Co to find ways to recycle textiles and help generate income for our hospice at the same time.
Textile Recycling is now an important part of modern-day life. We are used to recycling many household items for example paper, plastic, cardboard and glass bottles but many people are not aware that it is as important to actively recycle clothes, textiles, shoes and handbags as an estimated 1 million tonnes still ends up in landfill every year.
We would love it if you could put wearable clothes, shoes and other textiles into plastic bags and take them to one of our textile banks located around Coventry and Warwickshire. D Robinson & Co will collect & empty these banks on a regular basis which will all help to raise vital funds for our special babies.
You could really help us to make such a difference by popping along to one at your nearest location with the clothes that you no longer wear.
We currently have three textile banks which are located at:
If you are someone, and or know someone who works for a company who will be able to accommodate one of our textile bins then please get involved by contacting the team below and helping to vital funds for Zoë's.
