Big Grins from "Grin and Bear it" challenge
Published date: 08 July 2016
Around two hundred and fifty participants of various ages and abilities came to take on the "Grin and Bear it" challenge in support of Zoes Place Baby Hospice in Coventry. An amazing day was had by all and between them they have raised over £10,000 with sponsorship money still coming in!
Mick McCann the fundraising Manager for Zoes Place Coventry said "I am absoloutely thrilled at the amount raised. This will make a huge difference to our special babies and their families. We need to raise 1.4million to run at full capacity at the hospice and with only a small amount of statutory funding we rely heavily on public support and donations. We cannot thank all our AMAZING challengers enough for taking on the Grin and Bear It challenge and we sincerely hope everyone enjoyed their experience.
Chris Noonan and his daughter Caitlin were two of the brave competitors to take on the obstacle course. Chris has very kindly allowed us to use his video he created from his GoPro camera, I think you will agree they are both fantastic!
