Local choir ROCKS for Zoes Place Coventry Hospice.
Published date: 30 June 2016
An uplifting and exhilarating performance was enjoyed by all at the Warwick Art Centre on Sunday 26th June by one of the UK’s favourite contemporary choirs. Over 400 Rock Choir members from Banbury, Coventry, Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon & Warwick led by Rock Choir Leader Angela Moran performed a selection of fun, upbeat, feel-good songs from the Rock Choir repertoire.
The concert supported Coventry's Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice raising almost £950 on the night. Zoë’s Place fundraising manager Mick McCann, who was present on the night, was thrilled with the amount raised. He said “Relying heavily on public funding to raise our annual fundraising target of £1.3 million we just could not do it without our amazing supporters like Rock Choir”
