Be a #ZoesHero and take part in the Coventry Half Marathon!
Published date: 22 July 2021
Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry is looking for people throughout the region to become a #ZoesHero and rise to the challenge of taking on the Coventry Half Marathon on Sunday 31st October 2021 to help Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice provide much needed end of life, palliative and respite care for babies and infants with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Whether you race, jog or even walk a little, the Coventry based children’s charity can offer you free places as long as you pledge to raise funds on their behalf. The pandemic has meant that it has been a particularly testing time for the Baby Hospice (the only one of its kind in the UK) and the Coventry Half is a chance for Zoë’s Place to raise much needed funds.
Community and Events Fundraiser, Bethany Richardson said:
“Once you have registered we will send you a Runners Pack containing information about training and fundraising including sponsor forms. We pledge to support and provide Team Zoë's runners with everything you need to help you meet your running and sponsorship goals.
By running for Zoë’s Place, you really can change a life by putting into practice all those lockdown training runs and completing the regions biggest and best half marathon! If you’re even thinking about entering, don’t hesitate, sign up today and do something AMAZING by taking on the Coventry Half Marathon for Zoe’s Place.”
