A 'Golden' Opportunity For Zoe's Place Baby Hospice
Published date: 21 April 2021
John Illsley Danish Gold Disc Raffle
It's not every day you get to see a genuine Gold Disc unless you're a rock star, but thanks to John Illsley from the Dire Straits, Terry at Mark Knopfler News and John Bulloch from Guisborough Cricket Club we have one! And we hope to raise much needed funds to help our hospice get back on it's feet after a difficult year.
Not a ‘Ticket to Heaven’ but for the die-hard Dire Straits fans here we have an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity to win this truly unique prize in conjunction with Mark Knopfler News.
Kindly donated by John Illsley, a founding member and bass player of Dire Straits we have a Danish Gold Disc award from their first album Dire Straits presented to John in 1979. It’s in good condition for its age and a wonderful opportunity to win a fabulous piece of music memorabilia.
For most people the opportunity to own such a treasured piece would be ‘So Far Away’ but for just £5 a ticket you can have that chance all whilst raising funds for an incredible cause – Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice Middlesbrough!
So we’re trying to spread the word by telling ‘You and Your Friend’, we want every fan on ‘Every Street’ to know about this wonderful raffle.
