11 of their amazing General Managers cycled an eye watering 111 miles between 11 pubs in their area from Oxford to Meriden - visiting along the way Stratford, Warwick, Kenilworth, Solihull, Reddich, Stourbridge, Birmingham and Coventry.
Some of the local pubs owned by Premium Country Pubs include The Saxon Mill in Warwick, The Queen and Castle in Kenilworth and the Bulls Head Meriden.
Marc Dwyer Challenge Events Fundraiser at Zoe’s Place said:
‘What an incredible challenge and Zoë's Place are so grateful for the support from the team at Premium Country Pubs. £7625.94 is enough to fund 254 hours of respite care for babies and infants at the hospice it’s an incredible amount.’
‘Having spoken to the team they really wanted to challenge themselves and chose this type of fundraising event as they aren’t regular gym goers. They had started training by going to spin classes a few months before the challenge - cycling was a new experience for most of the team and they dedicated an incredible amount of time training to make this challenge possible.’
The pubs who took part in the challenge were:
The Red Lion – Oxford, The Trout – Oxford, Encore – Stratford, Saxon Mill – Warwick, Queen and Castle – Kenilworth, Kings Arms – Knowle, Boot Inn – Redditch, The Bell Inn – Redditch, The Littleton Arms – Bromsgrove, The Bulls Head – Meriden and The White Swan - Edgbaston
