Make A Will Month

February 2019

An up to date Will written by a solicitor ensures your wishes are respected. It also avoids difficult decisions and legal complications for your loved ones. Our Wills Month allows you to provide for family and friends and leave a legacy for Zoe's Place should you wish to.

Call one of the reputable firms trusted by us who are all regulated by the SRA and make an appointment for them to draft your will.  Tell them you want to see them as part of #zoesplacewills and instead of paying them let us have a suggested minimum donation of £75.00 for a single Will or £150 for a double Will (couple) – your chosen lawyer will pass you a donation envelope.  It couldn’t be easier!

So you’ll save yourself an average of £100 by making your will in February through #zoesplacewills and in so doing you will be raising vital funds to keep babies and children under 5 in our care

What can your donation get Zoë’s Place?

£75.00 will pay for 3 hours of care for 1 child, £150 will pay for 6 hours of care for 1 child, £200 will provide a music therapy class.

Can I include a legacy in my Will?

Yes you can.  We would love you to leave Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice a legacy in your Will, but there is no obligation under this scheme to do this.  If you do, please complete the legacy leaflet your solicitor will pass you.  Remember – charitable legacies left in your will are exempt from inheritance tax and could lower the size of your taxable estate.  Better than letting the government collect money from you!

If you have a problem contacting them and wish us to help you, or if you have any more questions on this scheme please call Dinah on 02476 361 675 or email Dinah.edwards@zoes-place.org.uk

Nathan and Claire Baines parents of Joel said “We are lucky in that Birmingham Children’s Hospital are confident that Joel’s condition is fully treatable so there is light at the end of the tunnel, but in the meantime Zoë’s Place has been a gift from God as without the respite care the hospice provides we know we wouldn’t be able to cope.”
