26 Brave the 150ft Freefall Liverpool Cathedral Abseil
Published date: 03 August 2016
On Saturday 30th July 2016, it was a lovely sunny day - and 26 AMAZING people braved the 150ft Freefall Abseil down the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, all the raise money for our hospice.
The day was organised by the staff at the Cathedral, with a 60's theme. All of the staff turned up in full 60's dress, and the day was entertained by some fabulous 60's music, which lots of our supporters couldn't help but dance and sing along to.
The participants were kitted out by the brilliant guys from Awesome Walls - and made their way inside the Cathedral and up to the top.
It was a great day, with a great atmosphere, and all of our participants went for it, facing their fears and abseiling down one of the most iconic buildings in our city of Liverpool.
Congratulations and thank you to all our brave participants! Have a look through our photos of the day below.
