Zoë’s Place in the News
Published date: 07 April 2016
You may have read or heard recent radio interviews about the financial situation at Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry.
Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice is a unique facility offering high-quality nursing care for babies and infants aged 0-5 years and much needed respite for the families.
Earlier this year, due to overwhelming support from supporters, particularly across Coventry and Warwickshire, the Trustees announced the hospice would provide these services every day. To deliver this service free of charge to families and with modest Government funding the charity relies heavily on the public to raise the £1.1m needed in this financial year.
At present our income is significantly lower than last year and we have appealed through the local media for the community to support us in a variety of ways such as financial donations, registering for one of the challenge events we offer or providing a legacy “gift”.
However, we want to reassure everyone, contrary to some media reporting, that we are not facing closures and have no plans to reduce the level of service we offer.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our supporters and Wish You All a Very Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Prosperous New Year.
