Children's Hospice Week 2012
This year's Children's Hospice Week takes place from 18-25 May, culminating with Superhero Friday - a special hero inspired day of fundraising!
Children's Hospice Week takes place every May and is the UK's only awareness and fundraising week for children's hospice services. Up and down the country Children's hospices celebrate the week with a host of events and activities and provides a fantastic opportunity to join hundreds of others in raising funds for charities such as Zoë's Place Baby Hospice.
You can get involved in Children's Hospice Week by taking part in Superhero Friday on 25 May 2012. You'll be making a real difference to the lives of children who are not expected to reach adulthood, and their families. So get involved and be a hero for Zoë's Place! Dress up as a superhero and make a donation. Get your friends, family and work colleagues involved and see who can come up with the best outfit!
As well as dressing up, why not do something extra to raise even more money? You can find some ideas and step-by-step guidelines to make it as easy as possible for you on the Childrens Hospice Week website by CLICKING HERE. They have posters, invitations, template letters and press releases to tell everyone about your event and encourage everyone to dress up. In their resources section you can find a range of downloadable materials of everything you need, so you can get going straight away. Enjoy Superhero Friday, make the most of being a superhero for the day, and remember that whilst you're having fun, your fundraising will be making a real difference to seriously ill children within our Hospice. For Zoë's Place banners, posters etc please contact the Fundraising Team on 0151 228 0353.
