Volunteering

Can you spare any of your extra time to help Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice?  Without the help of our volunteers, we simply would not be able to continue our remarkable work here at Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice, which enables us to provide 24 hour palliative and respite care for infants aged 0-5 with life limiting or life threatening conditions.

So why not make good use of your skills and get involved in your local community.

Volunteer Requirements

All volunteer opportunities exist to support the Fundraising team.
All Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
All applications are subject to references and DBS check.

Volunteer Roles

Fundraising Volunteer
As an events volunteer, you would be supporting our fundraising team as they put on a number of events during the year, including our annual Boxing Dinner, our Its-A-Knockout, and our Christmas fair. You would be attending various venues (both indoors and outdoors) to collect money for our hospice on our behalf. This is a crucial part of our volunteering roles, and raises a large amount for us.

Ambassador Volunteer
As an ambassador volunteer, we would provide you with enough information and training to enable you to go out and speak to people about Zoë’s Place on our behalf. This is a role for someone who would be confident to get up and speak passionately about our work in public.

Groundsman Volunteer
As a Groundsman volunteer, you would be involved with ensuring that our large and beautiful grounds are kept in a tidy and beautiful manner.

DIY Volunteer
As a DIY volunteer, you would be involved with supporting our Premises Manager with tasks around the building.
