BUSINESS LEADERS JOIN TOGETHER TO RAISE FUNDS FOR ZOË’S PLACE BABY HOSPICE
The Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice Business Group was formed in November 2015. Businessmen and women from across the region have joined together to not only help raise funds towards the £1.3 million running costs, but also to raise its profile, engaging more people in and outside of the workplace to help make a difference.
One of its most successful achievements to date has been the organisation of a highly successful fundraising ball in 2016 which raised in excess of £65,000. Plans are already underway for this year’s Black & White themed Ball which is this year taking place on the 19th May at Coombe Abbey.
Pete Jarvis, Chair of the Business Group and Managing Director of Warwick based automotive design, engineering and recruitment firm Contechs commented: “Being at the helm of the Business Group is a hugely rewarding experience. Zoe’s Place is an incredible facility and a great cause. It is a charity which touches the hearts of everyone who becomes involved. We have a great team and we are looking forward to achieving even greater results over the coming year.”
