Bob Brolly MBE
As a very successful broadcaster, Bob presents his own award-winning Irish show every Sunday (4-7pm) on BBC Radio WM and his popular afternoon music and chat show every weekday (12noon-2pm) on BBC Radio Coventry & Warwickshire.
Bob has won many major awards including 'Irish World Radio Presenter of the Year and 'Irish Post Media Person of the Year'.
In 2003, for services to Broadcasting with the BBC, the wonderful work he does for charities and having raised over £2m in the process Bob was invited to Buckingham Palace to receive his MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) from Prince Charles.
Lady Daventry is this year celebrating her 10th year as Patron of Zoë’s Place.
She first became involved having been approached by Zoë’s Founder Jack Scarisbrick MBE. At the time she had three young children and believed in everything he was doing and being local to the charity was delighted to lend her support.
Recently commenting on her involvement Lady Daventry said: “I have seen the hospice grow and develop from laying the first brick to become the fantastic facility it is now. It is a tremendous privilege to be involved and I am determined to help ensure its continued success despite the constant struggle of fundraising.”
