Salary Range: £23,500-£25,500

Can you motivate others to take on a challenge? Join our small, dynamic team as a Challenge Events Officer
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Challenge Events Fundraiser to be part of our small team. You will help develop and implement an effective strategy to substantially increase this income stream.
As an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of using creative marketing techniques to recruit and enhance supporter participation in challenge events you will also establish and develop partnerships with event management companies, sports clubs and sponsors.
Your energy, enthusiasm and proactive approach combined with your organisational abilities will help provide excellent stewardship with supporters and stake-holders.
Your event management skills will be essential to help you organise and deliver high quality events that maximise income and create awareness of the charity.
Capable of using your own initiative and with limited supervision you will use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver talks, provide concise reports and communicate effectively.

We are currently seeking to appoint Children’s Nurses on our bank staff at the hospice. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for experienced children’s nurses to develop their clinical and leadership skills within this specialised area of practice. The expansion and development of our Hospice and Palliative Care service within Coventry will provide an exciting opportunity for you to develop and build on your skills in a professionally supportive environment where quality and a family centred philosophy underpins all we undertake. Experience in long term ventilation is preferable but not essential.
